We created this Pilot animation, 'Spot and Dot' for 'Bob the Builder' director Brian Little and acclaimed children’s TV writer Pete Reeves. Spot and Dot follows the enchanting journey of 2 young birds eagerly attempting to discover all that our exciting world has to offer. From the first time they discover their reflection to the sound of an echo, every journey is as intriguing as the next

We created both Spot and Dot in 2D and tranfered them into the computer to animate them in our 3D software of choice. The challenge was to retain the stop motion feel whilst using a cutting edge computer based workflow. This 30 second Pilot was then passed to the audio guys and is currently making it's rounds to international broadcasters. |
