The class investigates independently to gain their own conclusion to each event.
The class then conducts a guided discussion into their of:
What happened?
Why it happened?
Who could be blamed?
How it could be prevented?
The aim of the resource if for young people to understand the causation factors involved with collisions on the road and to feel that they have control over how they can help reduce them from happening to them and their friends.
THE CHASE
There has been a collision, resulting in numerous deaths in the center of Silent City.
You and your friend are on the scene with a video camera and are told that you could investigate the scene, recording people's responses and opinions and you could then sell this to the local news channel.
In your investogation you uncover the mixed opinions from the community as to why this event happened, who was to blame and how it could be prevented in the future.
THE DOGHOUSE Hazel Dene, local superstar reporter is broadcasting a story about the opening of the Doghouse nightclub. A young girl is knocked down by a car and presumed dead as the report is going live.
You guide Hazel around the scene to investigate crowd opinion and community comments around the topic of why it happened, who was to blame and how it could be prevented in the future.
